One month ago today, we topped the escalator at the Little Rock National Airport and were greeted like this...




Have I mentioned that our friends and family are awesome?


One month ago today the little dude could barely sit unassisted. Now he sits, stands, pulls up, and is beginning to walk around the perimeter of furniture. One of the pediatricians said we could expect to see 3-6 months worth of development packed into 30-45 days. If that keeps up he'll be driving by the end of next month. : )

We start swim lessons on Monday. That is sure to result in much blog fodder. Until then, have a wonderful weekend!

My brother invited us over to take a dip in the pool this afternoon. We had been interested in seeing how Beckett would react to a swimming pool so we eagerly accepted and headed off to meet up with my Dad and my brother. If we have learned anything while parenting this little dude it's that he is unpredictable. We were prepared for the worst. Both of us were fully convinced that he would have a full scale meltdown resulting in a lifelong fear of large bodies of water. We were so very wrong. He loved the pool. He kicked and splashed and didn't show any fear whatsoever. We'll be looking into swim lessons pronto. I've posted about a zillion pics on the photo page so feel free to check them out.
