happy mothers day!

Bex and I decided to make some cookies for the local grandmothers. We had a big time. The boy especially enjoyed doing a little quality control on the chocolate chips. Dumping cups of sugar onto the floor was a close second. Sampling the finished product wasn't half bad either.

Too often I post pics where the boy looks terribly serious. To be fair, he is a rather intense fellow, but he does smile. He just prefers to make capturing his grin on film a challenge. To that end, here are a few of our most successful shots of the elusive smirk.
