So, the homestudy was this morning. I have no clue why I was so worried about it. Basically we just sat around and chatted. In the end, our social worker said that the homestudy would be approved and that all is well. Yippie!
Our house looks amazing. We are the worst when it comes to unpacking. This gave us a much needed kick in the pants and our house looks amazing... almost good enough to show it... maybe we should sell, after all, I know a good realtor. Wink wink. I'm kidding about the house sale, don't panic.
We've also arrived at an answer to the gender question. Our homestudy will state that we are open to either gender, with a preference for a girl, or twins of either gender, under 18 months at time of placement. Hooray for clarity I say. Hooray!

Admit it. You guys are blog addicts. Right? Right.
What would you say if I told you that you could get your fix in printed form? What if I told you that there was a book currently headed to press that featured stories about forming families through international adoption, and that these were stories you had not yet read... from differing perspectives, but all about how things felt that they were meant to be? And what if I told you that 100% of the proceeds from the sale of said book would go to further the work of Orphan Care, International? Would you buy one? Would you?Would you order one if I told you all of that? You would? Awesome.
