In big non-adoption news, my baby brother is getting married this weekend to his lovely fiancee, Lindy. Notice that I said baby brother. Clearly I need to stop saying that. It makes me feel old, and he is far from baby sized. Sigh. I think that I can speak for my entire family when I say that we are thrilled that she is going to officially be a member of the family. I've never seen Max happier than when he's with her, so I'm pretty excited for them. Not only is she beautiful, witty, and able to be just as much of a smart mouth as the rest of the family, she has never once called me ma'am, which is better than I can say for my little sister's boyfriend. I helped my big sister throw a shower for the soon to be newlyweds last weekend. Click here for photos.

moving right along... and more knitting

So, I can't stand it any longer. I just have to post a photo of the adorable hat that I just finished. Sure it hasn't been gifted yet, but new parents don't really have time to obsessively read blogs like me, right?

We have no news on the adoption front. Several folks got LIDs today (Log In Dates), so the cogs are definitely in motion, even if nothing is happening with us. Though, to be fair, things are happening with us, we just aren't updated at every teensy step along the way.
