a very long weekend and a shout out to my peeps in vietnam

This was a very long weekend, and I am completely exhausted. My fabulous grandmother, Omy, had an unfortunate accident that resulted in emergency surgery to repair a broken arm/elbow, and to stabilize a shattered patella. Since we only live about 3 hours away, my Dad and I hopped in the car and drove up to the hospital. Omy made it through the surgery just fine, and I'm happy to report that she should be able to go home sometime this week. It was great to see my grandparents, though the setting was less than ideal. We were at the hospital until the wee hours, and then I think we slept fewer than 4. I'm completely exhausted. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz...

All four Dillon families landed safely in Vietnam and will soon be on the way to meet their little ones face to face. Very, very, very cool.
