happy things in adoption land, oh, and i'm 30

4 Dillon families got their G&Rs today! Woo hooie! If you want to read more, I'm sure that Stacy, Kerrie, Kim & Kathryn will be happy for you to check out their blogs. It looks like they will be heading to VN around April 20th and are set for giving & receiving ceremonies on the 24th. Very cool news! Now if I could just get an update on our paperwork...

So, yesterday I turned 30. I'm still not sure what I think about that. I'm not sure it phases me at all. I am sure that I have gained a surprising amount of weight since my brother's wedding in January, as evidenced by the photos from last night. Bleh. Adoption is making me fat. Who says that pregnancy is required to pack on the pounds? Not me, boy. I am a card carrying, fully certified stress eater, and all this waiting is just allowing me to hone my snacking skills. Clearly I need to find a better way to manage my stress.
