provincial approval!

Beckett's dossier is in Hanoi, which means that we have provincial approval!

I'll explain the significance of our PA tomorrow. Today I just wanna enjoy the milestone.

Dan and Elisabeth are my heroes. Not only did they take a ton of photos of our little man, but she also sent an amazing email about him. Since I know you are all dying to hear the details, I'll share a little excerpt.

Ok let me tell you about your cute Mr. Beckett!!!!!!!!!!!!

He is ADORABLE!!!!! I picked him out immediately. You cannot miss those cheeks!! Well he is very alert and watched EVERYTHING going on in the room. I went over to him and gave him some love and attention. As you saw I picked him up..........he is such a cute chunky little monkey!!! I'm telling you, he is SOLID and CUDDLY! I held him and kissed him and told him all about you! (well the internet you since I haven't really met you yet!:) ) He would just look at me and I really do think he was listening to me. So then I put him down and went around the room some more and sat down next to Dan and Noah. Well not soon after we sat down we heard "ka klunk, ka klunk, ka klunk" over and over again, so we looked up to find Beckett rocking his CRIB back and forth (these aren't like our cribs, it wouldn't be too hard to rock, but they are very safe!) look at me and smiling. So I of course went back over and gave him some more attention, kissed those cheeks and he was very happy. He was NOT finished with me so he moved his crib to get my attention. It was SO funny! After that he took his "pose" of laying on his stomach with his head up watching us. He has great head strength! Then as we were leaving the first day I went back over to him, took a few more pictures and kissed him some more and he loved it! I hope you like to kiss cheeks because he likes having his kissed!!

Memo to Vietnam: I need provincial approval. Also, a G&R date would be super swell.
