wow, that was speedy!

It seems that today is the day for excellent news. The Payne's paperwork dilemma has been resolved and they are also ordering their visas! So it looks like we will be travelling with the Paynes and the Carleys, at least in theory.

I am just beyond excited. It's not a vacation, and making the trip solo would have been fine as we are going to bring home our little dude, but making the trip with such cool folks will definitely enhance the experience.

Who knew that Vietnam read my letters? : )

My dearest Vietnam,

Let me start by thanking you for quickly processing my family's paperwork once in Hanoi. I truly appreciate your efforts, and very much look forward to visiting you soon. I recently heard that Baby Loston's dossier has been compiled and that you expect to send it back to his province within a week. Kudos to you. That having been said, I am deeply concerned about the final piece of paperwork that the Paynes require. Surely you can do something to expedite the signature process. Once the final signature is obtained the Paynes can mover forward with ordering their travel visas, and all three of us can come see you together. Isn't that what your really want?

I am consistently amazed by your ability to resolve these situations, and I implore you to continue the trend. With any luck all of us will meet you in June.
