Check out the gift that the Paynes sent us. Are they they coolest or what?
Somehow our travel group knew we would be making this trek together. We could just feel it. Despite the processing setbacks and paperwork snags, I have been convinced of this fact for months. Ken thought I was a little wacky when I insisted on meeting
Scott & Leslie in St. Louis. I kept referring to them as "part of the group we will travel with" while he insisted on replacing 'will' with 'might'. I'm so glad we were able to get together that night, and I look forward to seeing them again in less than two weeks! I wish we had been able to meet
Erin beforehand, but we simply never found ourselves in Oklahoma. After chatting on the phone a good bit over the past few days, I feel like I really do know her, and I can't wait to see her in person. The coolest part is that we will get to share in meeting our children. We've shared in this process for months now, rejoicing in accomplishments and ranting about the setbacks, and now we get to watch-- in real life, face to face, first person -- as each group welcomes their new family member. It will be an amazing experience to say the least.
I'm told that there are five families making the trip. I know who three of us are. Are you one of the others? If so,
email me please.
