family photos and other miscellany

We finally got our act together and had a few family photos taken of us and the little dude. In the end I think they turned out ok, though they weren't exactly what I wanted. I guess I have to learn that babies are all about candid shots and may or may not be interested in being still. That and I am one of the pickiest people on the planet when it comes to photographs. We wanted to have photos of Bex in his traditional Vietnamese duds, but somehow he managed to split the pants. As amusing as those photos might have been we opted to save everyone the embarrassment and skip those shots all together.

Things have been pretty run of the mill around here. The little one is becoming more active every day and I find myself with less and less time for blogs, email, etc. One of these days I'll manage to catch up on my sleep and get back to regular updates. I promise.

CONGRATULATIONS to the fabulous Reagan and her family! Turns out they are expecting a wee one and I couldn't be more excited. Boys are the coolest!! Not that there is anything wrong with girls. I mean, I'm a girl, and I like me. : )
