boobs and tubes
So, I recently had a good friend who discovered a rather suspicious bump in her, um, boobage. She went to the doc who didn't like said bump one bit and scheduled her for a mammogram. In the end, all is well and the bump in question was likely little more than blunt force trauma due to toddler impact. Thank goodness! The point here is that her scare served as a reminder that it is important to check things out regularly, regardless of your age. Breast cancer doesn't care if you are over 35 or not. So, don't forget to check out your girls, girls.

The boy is allowed to watch TV. Yep. You heard it here first. I'm not saying it's all TV all the time, but he does get to enjoy some daily viewing. If you are a no idiot box household, I suggest you skip this portion and save the "evils of television" rants for yourself.
Two new shows have recently become household favorites. Bex cheers, dances, and interacts with the on screen characters of both shows. It is super cute and, I'm convinced, educational.
Check out Super Why (thanks for the tip on this one, Jenn) and Ni Hao Kai-Lan.

It suddenly occurs to me that the title might come off as a bit suggestive. So not the intent. My grand-dad always called the television a "boob tube". Hence, the title was intended as a clever play on that phrase and nothing else. I swear.
