wanna know what a 10 month old baby looks like?

The lovely lady on the left is Elisabeth Brodt. The handsome fellow in her arms is none other than Beckett Long Myers, two days after his 10 month birthday! These photos are less than 24hrs old! How cool is that? We received a short email saying that the little guy is super cute and that he loved all of the attention, so they were able to take several photos of him. Hooray!

I can't adequately express how much it means to receive these photos and to know that other families are taking the time to love on my little guy, even if it is only for a minute. So, THANK YOU Brodt family! I look forward to the day the we can reunite our boys for a play date. If you happen to be in town over Christmas, I bet something could be arranged... hint, hint.

Happy Monday, y'all! Here's hoping for a week for of good news for folks!

Since three families landed in the OKC airport together last Friday the local news simply couldn't resist the human interest story, especially considering that it was Mother's Day weekend! Wanna check it out? Click here. I'm not sure how I would feel about being accosted with cameras after getting off of one of the longest flights of my life with a little one who may or may not be happy about the situation. Theoretically it is good publicity for Dillon, but I'm pretty sure I would scare more than I would inspire. Of course, that's just me. The OKC group handled things with poise and grace, and the video will definitely make you smile.

On a random note, it is supposed to be over 90 degrees here today. I'm going to melt. Clearly the universe is trying to prepare me for Vietnam.
